CM Lanes is in Aransas Pass on 2285 West Wheeler Ave. Come to have fun and eat, drink and bowl. They’re open Mon-Thurs 9AM-10PM, Friday 9AM-12AM, Saturday 9AM-12AM, and Sunday 9AM-6PM. The Youth Bowling League is held Saturday from 9AM-11AM Aransas Pass Progress

The Future Generation at CM Lanes

If you talk to Mark Wiginton the Secretary of the Youth Bowling League at CM Lanes at2285 W. Wheeler in Aransas Pass he will tell you why bowling is unique among all the other sports. On bowling he said, “it doesn’t take natural born talent to play this sport.” For him CM Lanes is like a family, and he enjoys building relationships. He said, “the kids are the future of the sport.” Secretary Wiginton loves seeing the competition unfold. CM Lanes has been bringing bowling and entertainment to Aransas Pass for about two years now. He is hoping that the youth will help build bowling back up again and put it in the mainstream of sports.

Lady Panthers Race To 14-0

“The girls’ basketball team needs to be celebrated for their accomplishments’ ‘, said Aransas Pass High School Athletic Director Justin Taylor of the 2022 Aransas Pass Lady Panthers High School varsity team after they went an amazing 14-0 in district since the mid-90s. “We’re used to not getting acknowledged because we’re a small school, ‘’ said Junior Angelina Zepeda. The team is driven by their unbreakable bond. The basketball team agreed of all their opponents they faced in running through this streak, the Skidmore Bobcats was the toughest opponent of all. Ongoing 14-0 “it feels like a good accomplishment”, said Sophomore player Jocelyn Cole.
