Richard Eugene “Rick” Fenton

Richard Eugene “Rick” Fenton passed away November 3, 2016. He was 67 years old. He was born May 29, 1949 in Warren, Ohio to Albert Fenton and Mary Sidaway Fenton. He lived in Aransas Pass for over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded numerous medals. He retired after 35 years from the Oil Field Business. Rick was an avid golfer, outdoors man, and a gambler who loved traveling especially to the mountains. He loved sports of all kinds but his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite baseball team was the Texas Rangers. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vicky; grandsons, David Fenton and Mason Danielson. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pat Fenton, of Aransas Pass, Texas; sons, Ricky Fenton (Kim) of Aransas Pass, Texas, Randy Fenton (Vangie) of Highland Village, Texas, and Ronnie Fenton (Andrea) of Missouri City, Texas; daughter, Brandy Danielson (Ben) of Spring, Texas; sisters, Janet Bonnette of Aransas Pass, Texas, Patty Tracy of Mathis, Texas, and Tammy Vanderburg of Aransas Pass, Texas; nine grandchildren; and one grandson on the way; two great-grandchildren; and one great-grandson on the way. Visitation was held Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the family being present from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and also on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 8 a.m. until funeral service time of 2 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.
