Public pinwheels

The GFWC Texas Clubs Woman’s Club of Aransas Pass has created its annual “pinwheels garden” to raise awareness about the fight against child abuse. The public site chosen for the garden is the GFWC Texas Clubs Woman’s Club of Aransas Pass garden located on Harrison Boulevard.

The purpose of the pinwheel garden is to remind the community, “every child matters,” and to “say something, do something,” when child abuse is suspected. The local group’s effort is part of a national campaign to help all children have the childhood they deserve. For more information about the national campaign, go to www.pinwheelsforprevention.org.
