Esther Margaret Kirkham

Esther Margaret (Abbott) Kirkham, 97, passed away on March 9, 2023. She was born on February 25, 1926 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Seth and Nora Abbott. After graduating from Texas Women’s Teachers College, she married Dr. Neil H. Kirkham and began teaching school. In 1953, she moved to Aransas Pass where they lived for many years before moving to Rockport. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockport and a long time member of First Baptist Church of Aransas Pass. She was an avid golfer, a member of the Aransas Pass Garden Club, and loved spending time in the sun at the beach. Esther was a fixture at the Rockport Country Club and always ready to take a trip. She was an amazing mom and grandmother to her 3 kids and 8 grandchildren. In recent years, she has lived in Corpus Christi and the family is so grateful for the love Erika Alba has shown Esther for the last twelve years. It was her care that made Esther’s last years so special.

Amos(Ace) Edmunds Sr

Amos(Ace) Edmunds Sr, of Aransas Pass,Tx. Passed away on February 25, 2023 He was born in Aransas Pass Tx on 1/20/1981 He was married to Veronica Edmunds on 11/11/2004 Amos Edmunds had a career in Retail locations for over 20 years Amos Edmunds had a passion for spending time with his kids, enjoyed fishing, camping, playing football, overall was a huge sports fan everyone who knew him knew him as the biggest Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. He is preceded in death by his father Timothy Edmunds, his Grandfather Dale Bietendorf and his Grandmother Marjorie Bietendorf.

Rachel Hershberger

Ricky Lee Smith is proceeded in death by his Mother Mary Mozelle Clark, Sister Josilee Smith, and Brother Calvin Green. Ricky Smith is survived by siblings Dianne Brown (phillip), Mary Kegler, Jessie Green (Kimberly) and Margaret Clark, his niece Tamika Clark and numerous of other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.

Andy (Andrew) Clayton Willis

Aransas Pass - Andy (Andrew) Clayton Willis was born on December 20th, 1968 and died peacefully on Sunday February 26th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Clayton Nathan Willis. Andy was a 1987 graduate of Aransas Pass High School where he was a scholar athlete. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after high school and served actively and proudly in the Persian Gulf War/Desert Storm. After he got out of the military, he worked at Koch Refinery in Corpus Christi and was also involved in e-trade stocks, as well as private security before he began to work in the home renovation and repairs business. As an entrepreneur, he was well known and liked in the Coastal Bend community. He was a humble man of honor and integrity. He accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior at an early age and was a man of faith and prayer. Andy was a native of the island of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean and leaves to mourn many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Willis, Lafortune, DeLeon, Benjamin, and Placide families.
