Good for your health

Tri-County EMS and the Aransas Pass Fire Department team up outside the Civic Center Saturday for a free Wellness Fair, in memory of the ambulance service’s late Office Manager, Judy Yoder. Executive Director Carrie DeLeon offered visitors a ‘Vial of Life’, a handy plastic container that includes documents anyone can fill out with personal medical information and store in their freezer with tags to let First Responders know – in case of emergency and you’re unable to speak – what medications you take, et al. There were screenings, too, for blood pressure and checks of other vital signs, like heart rate and temperature. Courtesy: City of Aransas Pass/Tri-County EMS
