CPT Jeremy Alan Smart entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Stockdale, TX at the age of 51. He was born on October 11, 1970, in Taft, TX to Marvin L. Smart and Linda Glasson McAllister. Jeremy proudly served his country for 24 years in the U.S. Army
Deborah Sue (Susie) Moss passed away December 26th 2021. Susie was born October 26, 1953 to Robert Lowell and Dolly Jones in Fort Worth Texas. Susie married the love of her life Arthur Moss of Aransas Pass, Texas. She left school early to raise her young family. This didn’t deter her from continuing her education and achieving her goal of being a teacher and providing for her family. She obtained her GED then her bachelor degree in education. She taught at Kieberger Elementary in Aransas Pass Texas while studying at Texas A&M to obtain her master’s degree. She taught at Fulton and Live Oak Elementary in Rockport Texas where she became a counselor. She headed a group working with at risk children which received the 1000 Points of Lights award by the office of President George HW Bush. She worked tirelessly to provide these children a chance at a normal childhood and a healthy start with their education.
Eluterio “Crockett” Moreno passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 28, 2021.
James Roy Myrick was born May 31st, 1942 in Cushing Oklahoma. His family moved to Angleton Texas in 1954. He graduated from Angleton high school in 1960 where he excelled in sports. After high school he started working at Brazos oil and gas while also attending night courses at Alvin junior college. It was there where he met his future wife Connie Yvonne Warren. Soon after, they were married on December 7, 1963.Shortly after, they moved to Huntsville to continue his college education. They both worked several jobs to put him through college at Sam Houston state university, even selling sandwiches door to door in the dorm they lived in. He graduated in a short three years continually being on the Dean’s list with a degree in Bachelor of Science and economics.
Charles Edward “Ed” Spencer passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 67.
