Captain’s Open Air Market open for business
The Captains’ Open Air Market (flea market) has been in business in Aransas Pass for a long time, and the Comingores, Captains Fred and Hope, have put a lot of work into the grounds since they purchased the market in 2007. They had to put in more work after Hurricane Harvey hit in August 2017, and are now operating with only half of the market operational, but the market is open.
In spite of efforts to open within a few weeks, the reopening had to be delayed from Sept. 9, until Nov. 11 for a major cleanup effort.
