AP Panthers overpowered by Sinton Pirate offense

The Aransas Pass School varsity Panther football team lost to the Sinton Pirates, 35-13, Friday, Oct. 13, in what was supposed to be a home game, but due to the fact Panther Stadium is still not ready, APHS is still utilizing Sinton High School Stadium as its home field.

The Pirates had first possession in the game, but the Panther defense held and took over on downs near midfield less than two minutes into the first quarter. AP drove and scored several plays later on a run by Banya Owen. The point after attempt sailed true and the visitors led 7-0.
