Tommy Adame, 49, of Ingleside, Texas passed away August 13, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on September 20, 1966 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Abel and Anna Adame. Tommy grew up in Ingleside, Texas and loved his community dearly. He was on the schoolboard for many years, coached and ran the Ingleside little dribblers, and was also a member of the rotary club. (He was also president of the “Adame Oil Family” inside joke) Tommy was a funny and charismatic that had a way of making everyone feel special and important and he did that for every person that he met. It’s hard to put into a paragraph or even a thousand paragraphs just how wonderful and truly special this man was that we all loved and adored. But from seeing all the people here today, the spectacular man that he was really speaks for itself. He had a big and generous heart and when he loved, he loved wholeheartedly and unconditionally and he made sure you knew it. Tommy had a way of speaking right into your heart and soul and when he spoke it captivated any and all audiences. As many people would agree, Tommy was a one of a kind man and there was truly no other like him. God created him to change lives, to uplift others and to make the greatest impact in this world during his life on Earth. That’s exactly what he did. He left one of the greatest legacies and his legacy will live on in his children, family and friends. Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Abel Adame Jr; brother, Mark Adame and nephew Marcus Abel Adame. He is survived by his children, Devrie Adame and Ryan Adame; mother, Anna Adame; brothers, Abel Adame III (Gigi) and Michael Adame (Lori); sister, Ida Adame Ramirez, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. A visitation was held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. A funeral mass was held Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Ingleside, Texas. Interment followed immediately after at San Ignacio Cemetery in Ingleside, Texas.
