In a couple months Aransas Pass will have a new addition to the community: the APISD CommUNITY Bus. The bus will be used to promote literacy and family engagement in the community.

Kurt Joseph Abt, age 62, of Aransas Pass, TX, formerly of Penn Hills Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in his home.

Gregory Meza Jr. passed away June 24, 2019 at the age of 56 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Gregory was born October 22, 1962 to Gregorio and Mary Jane Meza Sr., in Aransas Pass, Texas.

Jerry Jeffries Davis of Pearland passed away peacefully on July 3, 2019 after a long battle with cardiopulmonary disease.
