The 83rd Annual Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce Banquet was a hit this year, as the event sold of of tickets and the Civic Center filled with people. The Chamber awarded a few awards at the banquet. The 2019 awards were as follows: Ann Robbins won Citizen of the Year, Donald Volz won Ambassador of the Year, Y Knot Getaway won Small Business of the Year and Dawson Recycling and Disposal won Business of the Year. Chamber CEO Rosemary Vega said the event was phenomenal and had more attendees than ever before.
The three week grading period just ended and so that means students will receive progress report grades this week. Be sure to ask your student so that you may look over their grades and have that possibly needed discussion of more effort needed or way to go...keep up the good work!
The City of Aransas Pass has decreased water loss down to 14 percent from 40 to 50 percent.
It is hard to believe with this chilly weather that spring sports have arrived. Not only that but NJROTC, One-Act Play, Band Ensemble, Club and Organizations not to mention all academics are now in full spring semester swing. And to top it all off Senior graduation is only four short months away.
