AUSTIN — Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the state to slow down the reopening process for bars and other venues as coronavirusrelated infections, hospitalizations and deaths continued to increase in Texas last week.

Due to health concerns, the 72nd annual Shrimporee has been cancelled and will not reschedule during 2020.
The Aransas Pass City Council is still following COVID-19 precautions as they continue to keep the doors closed to the public, but they want to remind everyone that comments can be sent during the live streams of all current meetings or via an email to the City Secretary prior to a meeting.
