Steve Martin, co-owner of the historic Rialto Theatre in Aransas Pass, lost part of his left leg below the knee in an accident at Dyess AFB in Abilene in 1991. He was 23 and an Air Force Sergeant. Now in his mid-50’s, Martin plans to use his experience with PTSD and depression resulting from the mishap and establish a counseling and support group for other veterans soon. One of the ways he effectively finds solace from his mental anguish is riding this 2022 Harley-Davidson Sportster S he said could go from 0 to 60 in threeseconds. Aransas Pass Progress
