Dr. Glenn Barnes, originally from Louisiana, was chosen by the Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees Thursday, November 9th as its next Superintendent. His first day was Tuesday, November 14th. He comes most recently from the Splendora ISD in Texas where he served in the same capacity. “I’m super excited. I’m honored,” Barnes told the newspaper Friday, November 10th, confirming that he has already relocated to this area.
