Dahle, 87, with wife, Anneliese, 83, on November 7th. The couple has been married 60 years and met when they worked together in Germany. She is active in the Hibiscus Garden Club in Aransas Pass, is a Master Gardener, and favors her many rose bushes. Hans still kayaks, occasionally. Both have a passion for the outdoors, sailing, and being on the ocean, a pleasure they spend less time doing these days the result of age and health restrictions.

When Hans married the former Anneliese Kraushaar in Dusseldorf in June 1963 it followed many years of dating. They’ve raised two children, a son, and a daughter.
