Wes Denney, 44, and wife Holly, 36, own and operate Freedom RV Service at 603 Banty Ln. in Aransas Pass, opening the location they built from the ground up last November. A formal Grand Opening event is scheduled this Saturday, February 3rd, from 1-5:00 p.m.

Inside the 2,500 square foot sales floor the Denney’s have stocked hundreds of parts and accessories for any kind of recreational vehicle’s needs. Melissa Romero and William Parker are two of the Customer Service Representatives who help find hardware from within the store’s vast inventory. Wes and Holly have experienced explosive growth since they founded the company in 2017, the couple among a workforce of 15 total employees including service technicians that drive to the customer in one of several mobile repair units on the road most days each week.

Family is a priority for Wes and Holly, and theirs is a large one, six children made up of four boys and two girls including Austin, Paige, Kayla, Jacob, Skylar, and Jayden with their parents at home in Aransas Pass.

Using their 2,500 square foot service bay, the Denney’s have encouraged community togetherness, offering Bingo nights at their business location on Banty Ln. every third Saturday of the month, the next one scheduled February 17th from 6-9:00 p.m. charging a small fee for each card played. They serve refreshments and hot pizza from Shorty’s just up the street, operating out of a trailer that was the first home of Freedom RV Service.

Another draw is regularly scheduled cornhole tournaments, perfect for individuals and families, including tables set up for anyone to enjoy a BBQ cookout, courtesy of the Denney’s, held the first Saturday each month, the next one scheduled this weekend, February 3rd, from 1-5:00 p.m., the same day as their Grand Opening.

Soaring to new heights, the Denney’s also enjoy flying. Wes received his private pilot’s license a year ago using a plane at McCampbell-Porter Municipal Airport, on the border between Ingleside and Aransas Pass.
