Neither storm, surgery can keep doc’s office closed
Aransas Pass’ Dr. Lorraine Stehn has been a family practice specialist for more than 40 years, and neither a hurricane nor surgery could keep her office closed for long. When Hurricane Harvey made landfall, it took a lot out of the community, but what it brought back in was physician’s assistant Craig M. Smith, who had previously worked with Dr. Stehn for 32 years. After the storm, the doctor’s office has been open since Sept. 14 and been busy ever since.
