Local TDL office open for business
Corpus Christi – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Aransas Pass driver license office opened for business last week after being temporarily closed because of damage from Hurricane Harvey.
The office, located at 919 South Commercial St., returns to normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
DPS is providing a no-cost replacement driver license or identification card for residents in the hurricane-impacted counties, provided they had previously been issued a Texas driver license or identification card. Individuals who need to request a replacement card will have to complete an application (available the driver license office) and provide documents to verify their identity which can include an unexpired passport, another picture identification, etc.
