Linda Marie McNamee, age 75, passed away at Doctors Regional Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX on March 4, 2020.
Linda lived in Ingleside, TX and spent more than 20 years volunteering in the Animal Rescue caring for abandoned dogs and cats in the area.
Her love of horses and cocker spaniels in particular was well known.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she got to Texas as quick as she could.
She attended Fergusen Senior High School and Meramec Community College and worked most of her life in accounting.
She was employed by Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis and later at OxyChem for 16 years.
Her final employment was at Best Western Naval Station Inn in Ingleside, TX.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, John McNamee, her mother, Vera Fernau, and her father, Roscoe Ed Griffith.
She is survived by her stepfather Roger Fernau, her beloved sister Cheryl Schilly and her husband Tom Schilly of Robertsville, MO and close cousin Sue Zeller and family.
