Lesson beomes community project
By Norma L. Martinez
What started out as a lesson in Justin Hodge’s life skills classes at A.C. Blunt Middle School turned into a community project which, with the help of LOTC instructor Sr. Chief Cecil Fish and his classes, soon had a home. The project is a Community Food Box filled with food items which can be taken by anyone who needs assistance. The “home” is a bright red and yellow stand located on a strip of property on the front side of the school campus.
