Julie Ann Buentello passed away on April 10, 2020. She was 53. Julie was born on May 25, 1966 in Patuxent River, Maryland to Michael Earl and Jewell (Hamm) Ross. Julie was raised in a military family, having the opportunity of living all over the world as a child. She graduated in 1984 from Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Julie met and married Michael Ray “Buddy” Ellis in 1988. Together they were blessed with two daughters, Samantha and Sarah. Julie and her husband helped run “Texas Gulf Shrimp Co.” out of the Aransas Pass Harbor. After Buddy’s passing, Julie married Manuel Buentello, who was also blessed with two daughters, Amy and Jessica. Along with her husband, Julie owned and operated the family’s business “Buentello Professional Services” out of Aransas Pass, Texas.
Julie is preceded in death by her mother: Jewell Ross and her first husband: “Buddy” Ellis.
Julie is survived by her loving husband: Manuel Buentello of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughters: Samantha Lorraine Boughton (Robert) and Sarah Ann Waldron (Matt) of Ingleside, Texas; Amy Lue Lyday (Nick) of Beaumont, Texas and Jessica Lynn Howell (Marcus) of Rockport, Texas; father: Michael E. Ross of Lompoc, California; sisters: Gay Lynn Baker (Frank) of Angleton, Texas; Michele Foster (Daryl) of Dallas , Texas; brother: Michael Ross (Mary) of Galveston, Texas; paternal grandmother: Helen DeChavez (Mario) of Lompoc, California; five grandchildren: Trey and Michael Boughton, Hayden and Hadley Lyday and Derek Howell along with several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Robert Boughton, Matt Waldron, Nick Lyday, Marcus Howell, Trey Boughton and Hayden Lyday.
A private family service will be held.
