Groundbreaking to be held for centrally-located Movies Inc.

Although ground has already been broken, a ceremonial groundbreaking event for a six-screen, WWII-aviation themed movie theater, which will be centrally-located in the North Bay area, will take place Thursday, April 4, at 4 p.m. at 1227 Highway 35 North in Aransas Pass.

Business owner Mark Farnsworth of Rockport anticipates the new business will be up and running around September of this year.

Farnsworth is the owner of a movie theater in Calallen, which opened almost five years ago, called Movies Inc. which features the same name, logo, and theme as the one which will grace the new business establishment in Aransas Pass.

The WWII aviation theme is featured on the Movies Inc. logo as it is a B26 bomber propeller with a movie reel in the middle.
