Eric Lee Seaman
Eric Lee Seaman, 60, of Ingleside, Texas, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, September 30, 2016 in San Angelo, Texas. Eric was born February 10, 1956 in San Marcus, Texas to Eugene J. and Ellen Brauer Seaman. He met and married Deborah J. Honsinger on August 28, 1983. He was a very practical man and a man of nature and loved being outdoors, exploring and enjoying its beauty and especially sharing this with his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Eric was relentless in his desire to help those less fortunate and disadvantaged, both adults and children, and would offer help. With this desire, he was most fond of the “The H.E. Butt Family Foundation” and Laity Lodge near Leaky, Texas for the great help they provide our youth. Eric was a member of the Lion’s and Rotary Clubs in Ingleside and was a proud lifelong member of the Republican Party. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Deborah Seaman; daughter, Mary Ellen Gonzales and her husband Steven and their children, Ocean, Alora and Vallie Belle; son, Bensco “Ben” Seaman and his daughter, Grace; stepsons, Robert Thomas and his wife Denise and their children Dylan and Devon, and John Mitchell and his son William Scott; stepdaughter, Desiree Dickerson and her husband Kenneth and their children Zachary and Kelsey and Zachary’s daughter, Taylor; parents, Gene and Ellen Seaman; and siblings, John Seaman and his wife Paula, Alana Francesco and her husband Mike, Rand Seaman and his wife Chiara and Tim Seaman; and many special nieces and nephews.
