Ongoing events (may be subject to change due to COVID-19)
Join in the festivities Saturday, December 10 starting at 4:45 p.m. when Ingleside on the Bay hosts its annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade. It begins at Starlight and Oakridge, and it ends at Bahia Marina on Bayshore Dr. If you don’t want to decorate a golf cart and join the parade caravan, make sure to watch from your front yard as the parade winds through each section of the peninsula community.
In the November 2 editions of the Aransas Pass Progress/Ingleside Index it was reported erroneously that Kenneth Berry was identified as owner of the land that hosts The Coastal Bend R/C (Radio Controlled) Association of model airplane enthusiasts. Dennis Berry with Basic Equipment Company owns the land and does not charge the club any fee for the use of the aero drome. We apologize for the error.

Cartoon, comic book, fantasy and some children dressed like real career professionals lined up outside H.T. Faulk Elementary in Aransas Pass for the annual Storybook Character Walk, a kid-friendly Halloween extravaganza Monday, October 31, intended to promote reading and literacy. Boys and girls came dressed in their favorite costumes, delighted to get lots of candy. Principal Jodie Algueseva hailed the event as a “great success, thanks to all the participating business and community members in Aransas Pass.”
