Communities show support to police departments

In July of 2016, 13 police officers were gunned down, including the seven officers who were ambushed and killed in Dallas, Texas. Because of the recent spike in police shootings, businesses and residents around Ingleside and Aransas Pass have been showing their support for their local police departments and first responders by paying for meals and donating food items. Ingleside Police Department’s Facebook described incidents where officers had their meals paid for.
