Aransas Pass Chamber Corner
The Aransas Pass Chamber sustained severe damage in the lobby area and was unable to operate out of the office. CEO Rosemary Vega said there is no need to worry as the building is insured and staff is following the necessary steps for coverage. In the meantime, they set up a temporary satellite office at the City Hall to help coordinate supply distribution and volunteers. The Chamber staff then switched to working with recruiting volunteers only.
They also coordinated general volunteers for debris removal assistance and distribution of supplies.
