APHS Lady Panthers edge Lady Bulldogs for district win

The Aransas Pass High School varsity Lady Panthers held off Orange Grove by two, 50-48, Tuesday, Dec. 19 to improve to 2-1 in district.
The Lady Panthers were outscored 18-11 in the first quarter, and 12-7 in the second to trail, 30-18 at halftime. Aransas Pass battled to outscore the Lady Bulldogs 18-15 in the third, but still trailed 45-36.
In the final quarter, the Lady Panthers rallied to outscore Orange Grove 14-3, and secure the victory.
