Angel M. Sanchez
Angel M. Sanchez passed away Feb. 28, 2018. He was 66. Angel was born July 28, 1951 in Raymondville, to Josefina (Martinez) and Jose Sanchez. Angel lived in Aransas Pass most of his life and was a former resident of Ingleside. Angel was the owner/operator of Angel’s Bakery and best known for the traditional “pan dulce” the residents of Aransas Pass and Ingleside grew to love. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Angel in death are his parents: Jose and Josefina Sanchez; a brother: Malaquias Sanchez; and a sister: Esperanza Morales. Survivors include his daughter, Krystal Scott (Cody) of North Carolina; sons: Michael Sanchez of Corpus Christi, and Jesus Sanchez (Juany) of Mexico; six grandchildren, Madison Sanchez, Skarlett Scott, Jocelyne Galvan, Jesus Angel Sanchez, Jose Bryan Sanchez and Itzayana Sanchez; sister, Norma Barrera (Humberto), Juanita Meeks and Blanca Nova, all of San Antonio; the mothers of his children, Dalia V. Sanchez of Aransas Pass, and Dolores Medina of Mexico; and many, many friends. A graveside service was held Monday, March 5, at San Ignacio Cemetery in Ingleside. Serving as pallbearers were Rey Sanchez, Manuel Esparza, Remy Lee, Johnny Gonzales, Eddie Morales, Jerry Morales, David Morales, and Humberto Barrera.
