Charles Lawrence "Larry" Hale passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the age of 64. He was born October 20, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to James Daniel and Muriel Beasley Hale. He served in the US Army from 1969-1970 during Vietnam. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of the Aransas Pass Masonic Lodge #1018 and Order of the Eastern Star #162. He retired from ALCOA after 35 years as a reclaim operator. 

            He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents on both sides. Charles is survived by his wife Lynita Hale; son Jimmy Hale (Sandi Coker) of Ingleside, Texas; daughters Michelle Keever (Gerald), Steffanie Jimenez (Jesse) both of Aransas Pass, Texas, Kathy Miller (Erik) of Ingleside, Texas; sister Darlene Rodriguez (Ernie) of Ingleside, Texas; grandchildren, Tasha and Joey Burnett, Jared, Jordan, Josh, Dana, Kendra, Joshua, Jacob, Krysta, Vance and Reese; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins,.

            Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with family present to receive friends from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at 10:00a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at First United Methodist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in Prairie View Cemetery. The family requests expressions of sympathy may be made by donation to First United Methodist Church, 523 S. 8th St., Aransas Pass, Texas 78336.
