The Aransas Pass Lady Panthers defeated Rockport- Fulton 42-35 on Jan. 6. White led Aransas Pass with 18 points. Gaitan added 16 points. Brown and Elizondo each scored four points. As on Jan.

The Aransas Pass Panthers played in the Calallen Tournament on Dec. 28 and 29. In the first game on Dec. 28, the Panthers lost to South San Antonio 69-50.

Obituaries

Nancy Louise Lee, 84, passed away on January 5, 2017. Nancy was born on January 23, 1932 in San Pedro, California. Nancy had been a resident of Aransas Pass for 65 years, retired from the Dept.

Elizabeth Flores Gonzales, 59, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born to Ted and Sophia Flores on March 10, 1957.

Chris Winston Fricks, 75, passed into his Lords hands peacefully at home on December 30, 2016 with his family by his side.
